In My Mailbox (10)

Hey guys!  Can you believe it's already my tenth IMM?  I can't.  O_o  It feels like I just started blogging yesterday.  Yeesh.  But I'm so happy I had all of you along for the ride with me.  *hugs*  I love each and every one of my amazing readers, and I'm so happy that you guys return to read day after day.  It seriously brightens up my day.  And comments.  I love seeing my email filled with comment notifications.  :)  Seriously, this is just a small milestone, but thank you guys so much!  *hugs*

Anyway....

For review...

Masks: Rise of the Heroes, Masks:  Evolution, Masks:  Ordinary Champions, Icarus in Flight, and Banshee (Prizm:  The contemporary ones look great.  I already ripped on the other covers in the post below.  Thankies so much Hayden and Prizm for sending!)

Out of the Pocket by Bill Konigsberg (Dutton:  Sports aren't usually my thing, but it looks interesting.  Thanks a bunch Bill!)

The Secret Year by Jennifer Hubbard (Viking:  Ever since I saw the cover I wanted this book, and I am so happy I got it!!!  Cannot wait to read it!  Thanks Jennifer and Penguin!)

Okay, the second jpg file won't upload, so I'm going to call it quits.  They were just yard sale finds.

Zoya by Danielle Steele

She Who Remembers (and two sequels) by *mumble cannot remember and sees the irony in this*  It's a series similar to the Clan of the Cave Bear books.  If that helps.

So, sorry for such an odd post.  Really.  But I don't normally do it so early in the morning.  I don't know if I will be able to post a review later today or not, as I'll be going to a local beach (dam, not oceanic or anything) and then helping out with some family affairs (do not ask).  Have a wonderful Sunday, and get excited for next week!  Events coming up include:

Review of Invisible i:  The Amanda Project Book 1 (really cool and innovative)

Guest Blog by author Elizabeth Rudnick (Tweet Heart) and a re-post of my DA review of the book.

Interview with author Tom Dolby and review of his book, Trouble Boy

Sprinkled in will be reviews of The Iron King, Broadway Lights, and some other books.  Hopefully.  :)  Until then, be safe, and don't eat anything poisonous!

I LOVE getting books in the mail, or at the store, or as gifts..whatever! :P Loving your blog as well, very nicely put together. I'm getting some great new ideas from you and others (such as the IMM and the Book Blogger Hop. I've been blogging for a while, but just recently converted to Blogger as it's a bigger, better community. Glad to see you on Twitter as well!

Haha, comment notification is totally a love-hate relationship. Love the comments but I always forget to click the "delete" button on the notifications after reading. XD

Anyways, awesome books! Icarus in Flight is intriguing and I hadn't heard of most of the ones you got this week. Enjoy, and I hope you had a great time at the beach! (Sea, local, it's still the same awesomness in my opinion.) (:

Interesting list of books! Happy reading.

And as for eating something poisonous...it wasn't me but my grandmother. I had a number of spring bulbs to plant for her, and I put them in her fridge to imitate winter. She mistook them for onions (don't ask) and ate them! I found out a week later but checked anyway and luckily she didn't eat them in a big enough quantity!

Oooh. I've been wanting to read the Secret Year, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I hope you enjoy that one, and the rest of your books.

I loved The Secret Year. And as for Out of the Pocket, I was dubious too cuz I'm not a sports guy, but I actually really liked it. It's a good book. Hope you enjoy it too! :)
